We were Diesel before Diesel was cool.
     Remember the days when you hated to end up behind a Diesel on the highway? That's right, slow going, smelly, smokey diesels. Those days are gone.  The big rigs are building over 600 H.P. and diesel pickups are nearing 400 H.P. The advent of electronic fuel injection and computerized engine systems have brought the oil burner to the forefront.

Diesel fuel is evolving into a cleaner energy source, and the best has yet to come.  We aren't sure if Diesel will eliminate the need for highly refined gasoline, but the fact is Diesels have come a long way with lots of room to grow.

  As far as performance parts go,

  we have been at it for nearly three decades. If you wanted to add  H.P. in the early 80's we had to supply hard parts, like custom high flow injectors, fuel pumps, a turbo charger or two, maybe pistons and camshafts. Then tear the engine down and put it back together. Fun as that is...... it is expensive and time consuming. Again, electronics have changed that.  Performance enhancements of over 100 H.P. can be made in many cases in your own driveway with no tools, and in less time than it takes to change your oil.  Just plug it in and go.
  The hard parts are still available for the relentless pursuit of power. Diesels are making huge strides in the performance market. You just have to wonder what the next few decades will bring.
